As the Art director I dissected the song to direct visual imagery that aligns with the artist song and and the persona of the artist. Creating a deck with clear written visual direction, shotlist an visual references.

The song: Fix The World
The song is written as a reflection of a childs view of an absent parental figure. The parent comes in and out of the child their life and would come with empty promises while never fulfilling what the child really needed. It was for them to be present, consistent and to love them. It recalls a feeling of awakening and growing up to now better understand what it really is what they were doing.

The child has now found their own way and the need for the parental figure to be present is not there any more. Now there’s and understanding that they were not the problem but that the parent was broken themselves
